I’m Nicole, the planning obsessed (some may say possessed) mom behind Plan-it Mom.
If you are:
Volunteering (or were talked into) being a room parent
Taking on a birthday party for your little one
The month’s Supper Club spot
Celebrating the Bride-to-Be
Basically, if you are preparing to host a party, you have come to the right place and I’m so glad you are here!
What is Plan-it Mom?
Plan-it Mom is your resource for complete party plans for a variety of occasions that you can follow and carry out on your own.
Plan-it Mom provides detailed party plans that you can carry out yourself. It all starts with a theme. Around each theme I have created a recipe of sorts complete with all the ingredients and instructions you need for a successful party. Each party has suggestions for food, games, and crafts that you can pick and choose based on the length of your party time. If you are hosting a classroom party, there are also teacher gift ideas to go along with the theme. And don’t worry, it’s not all about the kids. There are dinner party menus and adult party themed plans as well!
Who is Plan-it Mom?
I am Nicole. I’ve worn all the same hats you wear: wife, mom, PTA volunteer, Room Parent, taxi driver, dance mom, swim mom, menu planner, vacation planner. So much planning! But, I actually love that part. I have always been a list maker and planner. It was not surprising when I became a teacher. I actually loved the planning process. I was always on the lookout for fun new ideas and activities for my students. Eventually I left the classroom behind to become a stay at home mom to two amazing kids. My planning took on a new focus. Now I was planning birthday parties and classroom parties instead of lessons, but I found that a similar approach was a good recipe for success. When other room parents began asking me to share my party plans with them, the seed of the idea for Plan-it Mom was planted.
Why Plan-it Mom?
There are bunches of reasons why Plan-it Mom can work for you. You don’t have time to sit and plan a party. You don’t like researching games and crafts. You can’t think of a theme. At the same time, you want to host a fun event. Don’t worry! I’ve got you covered! I plan it…YOU do it!
